Like me, I like to dig into drawers and cupboards in the house to just to spend my morning or an afternoon during weekends. And it always feel like a surprising party when you found things that are not in your era. *you know...those days ^_^
I was going through my dad's drawer today and found these wonderful instrument sets that he owned while he was in college!! Imagine 50 years ago, in a small town, not even a city. There were no computers, not much cars as well, everyone goes to school or technical college by bicycles or busses, and in their bags there were all these high quality metal instruments along side with books, graphs sheets, drawing papers and of course pencil box. Everything was either made in England, Germany or Japan. Hardly you can find things that are in plastic. There are so much stories drawn, written and created with these tools.
These are the treasures. The two instrument sets are my parents and the green box of metal writing tools is from my late uncle. *which I have no idea how to use it
Here written as the Metal writing tool set.
Ah, antique closure.
This is the red Stedtler Tradition, made in Germany.
You open the box by pulling the needles by the two sides of the box. How cool is this!
The interior is just CLASSIC.
This black one is made in Shanghai China. It's the same, you have to pull a metal out from the side to open it. Sleek and classic!
The interior is just so classic. It even has a small cloth for you to wipe clean the tools. A box with so much of attitude and gratitude. ^_^
Computers had made our life better, and yes an additional note, it made me respect those who are the pioneer that made Disney come to life.
